West Redding, CT, August 28, 2008— Sandella’s Flatbread Café and Jerry Phim recently finalized a deal that will bring three new restaurants to Central Irvine, California. Sandella’s Flatbread Café, a fast casual flatbread concept featuring a health-conscious menu, is rapidly expanding worldwide and will soon have over 125 locations open with 400 new franchise restaurants in development across the United States and the United Arab Emirates.
“There are a lot of restaurants in Southern California, yet there is nothing new or unique,” says Phim, “that's what first attracted me to Sandella’s Flatbread Café. People are always looking for something new to try, especially if it's fast and healthy and still tastes great.”
Phim is working with the Irvine Company to land prime real estate in Southern California. He hopes to open his first location before the end of the year in Orange County.
Sandella’s Flatbread Café incorporates the hottest trends in the fast casual segment, offering consumers fresh, hot and healthy menu items such as grilled paninis, sandwiches, grilled flatbreads, chopped salads and quesadillas—all made with their own brick-oven flatbread that is low calorie and fat free. Already ahead of its time, Sandella’s is trans-fat free and listed in the Weight Watchers Points Guide.
Restaurants average 1,000-1,500 square feet and seat 30 to 40 guests.
Prime franchise territory is still available worldwide. If you are interested in franchising with Sandella’s please visit www.sandellas.com or contact Alexandra Doyle at 703-837- 5168 or alexandrad@fransmart.com.
