West Redding, CT, July 21, 2008— Sandella’s Flatbread Café , the largest and fastest growing flatbread concept in the world recently closed a multi-unit franchising deal with Oliver and Jessica Kiely bringing two new restaurants to Harrisburg. The couple expects to open their first restaurant at the beginning of next year and is currently scouting real estate in the Harrisburg area.
"We read about Sandella’s Flatbread about a year ago in an industry trade magazine and we were immediately drawn to the concept," says Jessica Kiely. “The concept is simple to operate and build; there are no hoods, grills or fryers. When we went to try the food, it was delicious--that sealed the deal!”
Sandella’s Flatbread Café incorporates the hottest trends in the fast casual segment, offering consumers fresh, hot and healthy menu items such as grilled paninis, sandwiches, grilled flatbreads and quesadillas—all made with their own delicious flatbread which is kosher and fat free. Already ahead of its time, Sandella’s is trans-fat free and listed in the Weight Watchers Points Guide.
Oliver and Jessica are part owners of an Atlanta Bread Company in the Harrisburg area and are excited to further their already successful restaurant franchise experience.
The company has 125+ locations open throughout the United States and an additional 400 new franchise restaurants in development in the United States and the United Arab Emirates. Restaurants average 1,000-1,500 square feet and seat 30 to 40 guests.
